Physiotherapist’s bio:

Reva Woodrow-Rubner, MSc(PT), PT
House Call Physiotherapy was established by Reva Woodrow-Rubner and was inspired by her passion for health, wellness and exercise. After working at UCLA Health, Toronto Rehab and St. John’s Rehab in acute care, outpatient rehab and inpatient rehab, respectively, she recognized the need for quality continuing physiotherapy at home.
Reva is an enthusiastic and committed physiotherapist who was draw to the field by her passion for helping people recover from injury and return to optimal function. Reva graduated from York University with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She continued her education at Queen’s University with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy where she gained vast amount of training in orthopaedic and neurological physiotherapy.
Reva has worked in both NYC and Toronto in Home Health physiotherapy specializing in rehabilitating patients with geriatric and neurological conditions. Reva is a certified LSVT BIG provider (Parkinson’s disease treatment) and has additional training and continuing education certificates in Home Health Rehab, gait analysis, and Advanced Physiotherapy Treatment of Multiple Sclerosis. Reva provides physiotherapy for the concierge medicine program at the Cleveland Clinic Canada. Reva is a registered physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
The House Call Physiotherapy approach:
- Every initial physiotherapy evaluation involves assessing your:
- Medical history
- Orthopaedic injuries and/or neurological conditions
- Daily activities
- Movement patterns
- Pain level
- Goals for recovery
- A diagnosis and treatment plan is then created based on the evaluation results and your rehabilitation goals.
- We communicate with physicians, case managers and specialists as required.
- Physiotherapy treatment could involve manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, education and home exercise programs.
